Coding in Kindergarten?!

The Senior Kindergarten class last year embarked on a journey offering every student an opportunity to learn and implement computer science. While offering opportunities in critical thinking, logic, persistence and creativity, students are learning to excel in every subject!

The American Heart Association recently named Rossman among the top 10 Missouri schools raising funds through the association’s “Jump Rope for Heart” and “Hoops for Heart” fundraisers in 2016-2017. 

Last February, more than 150 Rossman students in grades 2 through 6 participated in the events, raising $11,790. The School has supported Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart for over 25 years, raising more than $170,000 for heart research and health education.

Back to school time is full of excitement, anticipation and fun! The kids are reunited and ready to share everything … including lice. Lice love the communal setting of elementary schools and claim 6-12 million heads a year in the United States alone!
